This video provides a glimpse on the life lived by Pnadit Shriram Sharma Acharya (Founder of Gayatri Parivar, Shantikunj) and the Yug Nirmaan Yojna started by him.

God reincarnates himself whenever good is in trouble. "Once again the power is flowing from India, which will take India to the peak. The time has come for resurgence of India. Some people will try for India to become a follower of western culture but my belief is there will be a movement in India, this will bring peace and happiness like Satyug (era of Truth)," said Maharishi Arvind. The background work of creation of Gaytri Pariwar was on for past 1000 years. On 20th Sep 1911 Ashwin Triyodashi was born a boy. He grew on to become Vedmurti Taponishth Pandit Sriram Sharma Acharya. This is birth centenary of a person who resurrected the sansakars, of a great thinker who created the base of Era transformation by his pointed thoughts, of an austere and meditative person. This austere saint who did silent penance, on Gurusatta's subtle instructions, did satsang with Rabindranath Tagore in shantiniketan, Gandhiji in Sabarmati and yogiraj Arvind in Pondecherry. By making the spirituality as a medium he took the responsibility of individual creation and era creation in his hands. He wrote his first book "What an I". This book written on 'Aatmopnishad' was just a beginning. The journey was long and got completed by a huge written literature. There was just a single lamp that was lighted, but one after the other several lamps got lit and the organization was born. On the instructions of his Guru, Acharya Sri went to Himalaya for his penance. He was there for 1.5 years, did great penance, and wrote a book "sunsan ke sehchar" on how one can live with nature. During same time Arsha Grnthas were translated into simple language from Gangotri. 4 vedas, 108 Upnishads, Darshan, Puran, Smriti, Brahman, Aryanak were translated into simple forms and made available to common man. In 1971 announced leaving Mathura forever, himself going to Himalaya and leaving Vandaniya Mataji in charge of all activities from Shantikunj Haridwar. Shantikunj is established in about 200 Acre as the yug tirtha "The place of pilgrimage for the Era". Shantikunj has come forth as a centre for Moral, Social and Spiritual ascension. In 1984 Pujyawar entered into penance for Sublimation of elements of his soul. This was followed by Yagya's all over the world. He also wrote "Akhand Jyoti". On Vasant Parva 1990 he announced leaving the physical form in six months. On 2 Jun 1990 Gayatri Jayanti Mahaprayan he took Samadhi and left physical form. Government of India issued a postal stamp on 27 Jun 1991 in his memory. This was followed by Ashwamedha Yagyas in Lester, Toronto, Las angeles and all over India. In 1998 a huge Vajpeya Yagya was conducted in New Jersey. Virat Vibhuti Gyan Yagya was conducted in America, Canada , Europe and South Africa. On 23 Jun 1999 a university named "Dev Sanskriti Vishwa Vidyalaya" was established on the lines of ancient Indian Universities of Nalanda and Taxila. Developed as Modern Gurukul, in 85 Acres area.
