Happy Thanksgiving all! A guy at work today said these looked like turkey feathers =) I guess they kind of do, although it wasn't intentional. In fact, I had sworn I wasn't going to draw a turkey on my nails for Thanksgiving LOL.

Pics can be seen in this blog post:

  • i have a big question when i do my desins they always blend together how do you do it?

  • @TheLynberger just practice & finding colors that work well together =)

  • Just a tip you could have done the yellow as your base coat then done clear polish in your design as a place holder then you would've seen the yellow through it

  • @lalathekido I have marbled with clear before, but generally colors seem to behave better in the water =)

  • when i try to do water marble the first drop of nail varnish is already dry before i draw my pattern so it just messes up, how can i change this ?

  • @RawwrrItsLaurie every polish dries at a different speed & those that dry fast just aren't very good for marbling - if you can't work any quicker then you have to find colors that dry slower =) Also make sure there's not a fan or anything creating a draft on the water as that can make the polish dry faster
