Hallgrímskirkja (Hallgrim's Church) in Reykjavik is the tallest and most striking church in Iceland.

A Lutheran cathedral, Hallgrímskirkja is named after an Icelandic poet and clergyman, Hallgrímur Pétursson (1614-74), the author of the Passíusálmar and other works
