@ElizabetaNight93 Believe it or not, those calls probably mean more to him than you think. From my experiance with family members during their deployments, any contact with home and "normal life" is a huge moral boost. When you're 10k miles from home even the stupidest events back home mean alot.

ppl need to shut the fuck up bout bashing our military. unless they have someone in the military they dont know shit. they dont know the emotinal crap that comes along with the job not only for the person but also for that persons family. My older brother is a Marine and i couldnt be prouder of him. I support him and all his brothers. they protect us and ppl need to be thankful not ungrateful some bitches. So u kno what OOORAH!!!!!!! Anyone arguing over "which branch is best" who probably has never served, and is just some high school war junkie who thinks that they're a BA because they're a poolee.. NEEDS TO SHUT THE FUCK UP. If you haven't been there, shut your mouth. War is hell. And everyone, EVERYONE in the service plays their small part in the bigger picture to get the job done, and come home alive. Army, Marines, Navy, AF, MARSOC, DEVGRU, Rangers, CAG, Green Berets, rear echelon, EVERYONE. No one is "best".
