2008 Paris Auto Show: BMW X1

There was a wee surprise this morning at the BMW stand at the 2008 Paris Auto Show. Inside Line has been told by BMW Germany and North America personnel that the X1 SAV, being shown here as a concept, will be coming to North America in September 2009. That's right on schedule with the European launch, so there was apparently never any doubt.

dude,, BMW isn't just a car. OK, the X1 sux compared to the X6,, but the X6 needs some changements to go offroad,, but is way better on road compared to a land rover.. and it has style,, just look at the land rover... than look at the X6,, you will see the difference there...

What is the point in another pointless softroader/hybrid thing?. Just stupid people with more money than sense/style would buy such a thing. If you want an offroader then get a land crusier or land rover disco. If you dont need offroad ability then get a friggin car. If you need the space then get a large estate. If you want high driving position then get a van or MPV.
