@peartfaldo Because many Mexicans are dirt poor and are desperate to find a place for their families. When you immigrate it doesn't so much have to do with the country you're moving to, no, it's more about the country you're leaving.
Best way to fix the immigration problem is to help the countries that are spawning these poor people.

No, because that was 500 odd years ago and if every group had a right to reclaim land that they lost in wars then the world would be in chaos. The native americans did not believe in borders so they lost everything. That will not happen to America, illegals will be expelled just like they are in Mexico.

@peartfaldo Simply because they can get a better job and a better life in America. You speak of America as if it were a country meant for one. If you have been raised in America as I have, then I'm sure you heard the term "mixing pot" from school throughout your life? Looks like you have forgotten it. Immigration carries mixed feelings for everyone including myself, and there are problems that come along with it, but that does not mean that I am racist against those immigrating.

They get checked and sent back to where they came from...Thats what happens. why doesnt anyone go to Mexico for "a better life"????? You do not have a right to enter any nation, that is established by international law and national sovereignty. If Americans were flooding into Mexico or any other nation illegally and taking work away from the natives you would be outraged and calling for the Americans to go home. Why then should Americans feel any differently about illegal aliens flooding our nation? Mexico is not a bad country to live in if you are rich, but who's fault is that?

I'm a RATM fan but really de la Rocha's politics sux. It is not a right to be in America it is a priviledge and all you illegals are going to learn that one way or another.

Who are "all you illegals"? Human rights are for all people. Read the constitution. It includes those here that are not U.S.citizens. Under the law, all people have rights.
Under the law, it is only a misdemeanor to cross the border without documents or over stay a visa. Joe's law is not humanities law. He goes after citizens with brown skin while neglecting other duties as sheriff. I've made it easy for you to see that in several of my videos.
It's your politics that suck.

@Humanleague002 Have you ever been here in Arizona? If so, have you lived in the southern parts of the city? If so, you should know all about our illegal immigration problem. I don't care if it's illegals from Mexico, the Congo, Poland, Nepal, or any other corner of this earth; people who illegally immigrate are breaking the law. Poor citizens from Mexico come here with nothing, and put themselves and their children at a disadvantage, which in turn often times causes them to turn to crime.
