Minecraft- spider spawner trap with on/off switch

I used Risugami's Floodgate mod and the lighter block from SDK's gun mod to make a trap for a spider spawner that I found. The floodgate allowed me to put a block in front of a glowstone that I can toggle off and on with a redstone circuit and lever (Turning the lights "off" puts the floodgate block in front of the glowstone making the room dark enough to spawn mobs). The lighters will emit fire when hit with redstone. Turn the lighters on long enough to get the spiders (or other mobs) burning but make sure to turn them off or they will burn the items.
