@cbelisimmo the night when with a bang I carry a back up laptop and all the sensible replacement parts if all else fails a laptop and Two sound cards on board and USB or USB head phones will do just a small configuration to do hope this helps Tony

@cbelisimmo So I went back to Vista which my laptop seems to prefer all seemed OK till the night of the gig sound kept stopping fortunately before the gig and I had to go in to the setup of the software to reapply the sound card as I said this was my second BCD3000 So Twice Bitten I when back to my trusted old Hercules MK1 Never let's me down

@cbelisimmo Hi Thanks I have spent a lot of time and effort getting the Drivers and software running properly on my PC I installed windows 7 and I had problems with the mapping of the buttons. Needed to double click to start the deck to name just one of many (using Virtual DJ)

nice set, you seem to computer djing with the BCD3000 and have a lot of probleme during the night.. i was not sure to buy the Hercule MK4 or Behringer 3000.. after your video i will probably buy MK4. what is your backup systeme.

I hate it when technology goes wrong! My mum had a problem with her laptop. When she turned it on it turns itself off. Thought it was the fan but she doesn't use it all that much. Any ideas please?

@suehedges Hi Sue as it's a laptop it could be a build up of heat you could get a some air and try blowing it out.
Or if it's a software fault you could try F8 on boot and go in to Safe mode if that works you can assume a software corruption so you could try a System Restore before the problem started.
Sometimes with laptop's the battery runs out as a windows update is being applied and courses a corruption in the software.
