do your own research in the subject people.. you will find out that german electronica was the basis of the sart of hip hop drum n bass etc etc.. kraftwerk were credited by many american 70s and 80s hip artists as their influences.. even samples of craftwerk beats formed the basis of many early hip hop records.. get some research done.. try listening to 'harmonia' too

Hip hop sucks....

it's not the rhythms or techno/electro influence and all the guitar riffs in the world wont bring hiphop back....

the actual rapping itself is what feels tired and dated....

Nope. Think Isaac Hayes whose first LP came out in '69. I'd bet he had a greater, more direct influence on rap and hip hop than these guys.

@gorillabelly1 Sure, and all the P-Funk stuff as well, belong to the ancestors. But that was more or less funk music and although funk music is an influence, the sounds and the breakbeats are more or less heritage of bands like Kraftwerk. Music styles always have more than one father ;)
