Matt... what an amazing video! I am a Type I diabetic, and have been for 20 years. I am currently training for my first JDRF ride, and I have been turning to Youtube videos to see what I have gotten myself into! I leave one month from today for Death Valley and cannot wait! Thanks for riding, supporting Lesley, and all the rest of us with this disease!

Loved the video! I, too, am a Type I diabetic (41 years) and was introduced to Matt and Lesley at Laura & Chris's wedding in the fall. Lesley showed me her pump and shared some tips about using it. I have taken her advice and my pump is now safely hidden under my clothes, too. Lesley's upbeat attitude and optimistic spirit have inspired me. Good luck with the ride!

Great video!! I was just diagnosed with type 1 at the age of 43 a few months ago and I've been training for the 100 miler in Colorado. Good luck!

This made me cry! I also fell in love...with a boy who has type 1 diabetes! And now our daughter has it too. We too will stop at nothing to find a cure! My husband will do his second JDRF ride this summer in VT. I hope we get to meet you on that very inspirational day!
