Stewart Copeland sitting in with FALLOUT. This is video of Stewart Copeland sitting in with Dave Rasner from FALLOUT: The Police Experience, and Brooks Lundy from Stung. FALLOUT was invited by the late Ian Copeland to play Stewart's Birthday party. When FALLOUT's guitarist Pat Cherry was unavailable, FALLOUT invited Brooks Lundy to fill in. FALLOUT flew Brooks Lundy down to L.A. and with one rehearsal pulled off this amazing night. That's Stewart himself sitting on Mike Neiland's drums. Thanks Ian, we miss you.

  • Please re-post the full length original, the editing on this one is a bit haphazard, if I remember, towards the middle to the end of Roxanne, his drumming really caught fire, which you cut out.

  • A couple of reasons.. 1. We used another guitarist from another tribute band, 2) It's already an awful video, sound & picture wise, we didn't want to also include a train wreck that happened during Roxanne, lol, we knew a "live" arrangement that we had obviously never rehearsed with Stew, in the heat of the moment we didn't think to hash out what version, live or studio, we were doing! You know, when your look at your drummer & you notice he is Stew Copeland, your not thinking straight.

  • Let me see if I have this right...A Police tribute band gets hired for a surprise b-day that turns out to be for STEWART COPELAND, of all people, and before the evening is out, Stewart ends up PLAYING DRUMS BEHIND THEM?!...Are you KIDDING ME?!?!

    HOW FREAKIN'COOL IS THAT?!!!

If so, let it be said for now and for ALL eternity...Stewart, You're the best drummer EVER!...and you're a helluva decent chap as well!

    I salute you!

  • I know, even TODAY, I can't believe it happened. I was so surreal.

  • Is this recorded in thailand?

  • lol, no Beverly Hills, CA, it does sound terrible, it was the only camera available at the time.

  • what a locomotive man!!! I luv "contact" n "driven to tears"

    cool video

  • copeland is amazing!

  • Holy fucking shit! The Police Experience are the next best thing to the acually band and to have sir Stewart Copeland play with them just goes to show everyone how great they are. Does the band play in Canada (Ontario)? I sure love to attend one of their shows!!

  • @Anglovox.amazing grace!

  • Great job Stewart you are my drum guru I play blue Tama drums set up in that 3 rack top 1 floor top set up because of him........he's the best!

  • So from a purist point of view, and with all due respect, I am requesting again that you also post the original video in it's entirety with both songs. It's a real gem of a recording and I think it deserves to be seen with warts and all. That's the charm. Thanks ahead of time.

  • I don't see what #1 has to do with anything, listen, you are missing the whole point. Those who appreciate Stew and the Police look beyond these technical issues, it's about the overall experience in seeing the performance in it's entirety: the original video. I urge you not to worry about the quality or your seeming embarassment, in fact, you guys sound great! Art, music, or anything of expresion that is altered from it's original form or state devalues the experience, and thus, the enjoyment.

  • why did you edit this down from the original??
