Do you happen to know Fred Barton? His Robby and B9 bubbles are splendid. He may be able to steer you toward the right supplier.

Yes I do but but the Robbie bubbles are easy compared to these. We are way past this point and making the bubbles as we speak. I appreciate your suggestions!

Steve, looks like a wonderful project to accompany the clipper build. Are you only doing the helmet, chest and backpack parts or you also doing the other parts that look like are on the suit? I love Andy Proberts designs going all the way back to one of my other favorite shows, Airwolf. Andy designed Airwolf, the flight suits & the awesome helmet. I also have a mixed medium lithograph of the painting in Picards ready room of the D, signed by Andy & Rick Sternbach

I might be. right now the main focus is the helmets and back backs. That's the hard part.

I would love to have one of those signed or not! I saw the real think in person in the ready room. Long time ago.

The guy in Britain who made all of the star wars costumes is still in business, he could easily make these bubble helmets.

Though he might have to make 'seams' where the bubble helmet has a support at the back and sides.

looks like you guys are putting together the "All Star" team in order to bring Space Command back to life.

No doubt this will be a success.

There is a company called Nuytco Research that makes polycarbonate bubble diving helmets. It's called the Lama-Newt.

Thats fantastic, Steve. I met Andrew at a convention back in the late 80's, and I have corresponded with him via email a few years back. Seems he put out a call for people to design model kits based on some of his early Trek designs. I've been playing around with his "Sphynx" design when I can. I've loved his work ever since the "Airwolf" and "Street Hawk" days of my misspent television watching youth. :) When this is done, you all should do a con (ComicCon, DragonCon, Wonderfest, etc...)

Yeah it's a limited edition signed by Andy Probert & Rick Sternbach bought back in the early 90's. I tried looking it up online and had a hard time finding any info on it, but of course it's been out of print for 15-20 years. It's worth quite a bit more than I paid for it, probably 5-6 times for a signed & numbered print. Wish it would have been closer to a 1:1 but it's still pretty large, looks great close-up, the detail..............
