I was planning on going to Lima sometime near the end of this year. I went to Guatemala city, and loved it, and my experience with CCS was entirely positive. and I'm sure it will be the second time around.

Ah, brings back memories! This was actually a really cushy place as far as volunteering goes. It is in a nice, safe neighborhood and a short walk from Plaza Vea (a western-style grocery store that everyone frequented). If you'll be staying here, you'll love Mario the driver and Lucilla and Luisa the housekeepers--they are all so sweet.

hey, I lived there and slept in that bottom bunk! ...except back then (4 years ago), we had these tiny, little shower/toilet stalls.

i about to go on it. Its non-profit, non-religious and sort of non-government. You can just experience the culture there if you want. or you can go for service. look up "cross cultural solutions tanzania" on youtube and you'll see sort of what they do.

I am lost, besides what the name implies, what is ur org. about? religious, nonprofit? Would be nice if u tape while in operation.
