wonder what the garage band down the street here in el sereno, 2012,
would think of this?!

Marc Bolan's Chauffeur lent me this back in the day.... absolutely stunning album from the first note to the last, produced by Tony Visconti, on Regal Zonophone, featured in Bowie's 1980 floorshow, but no chart action!

David, Carmen was great. Very inventive arrangements. Why didn't Carmen continue? And what has become of the other members?

Hola
darker than I remember but still good to hear Carmen. That was a great album to make! If you like Carmen, check out Widecsreen - my new band!

I first heard this on the original vinyl my ex's Dad has. Man was it love at first listen. I recorded it to CD at the time and that was quite a big deal back then! I'm happy it's available for more people to hear! Especially as I can't find my copy of that CD! :)
It is Fandangos...I just got the CD. I saw them when the toured with Jethro Tull...the flamingo dancing was awesome with their music. Unique group.
