The Ghost of Faffner hall

The Ghost of Faffner Hall ran in 1989 on HBO. The series attempted to combine entertainment with basic education about music. Plots focused on Fughetta Faffner (The "Ghost of Faffner Hall"), and other residents of Faffner Hall experiencing the joys of music and combatting the villainous Farkas Faffner. Musical guest stars included Ladysmith Black Mambazo.

YES!!!!! After years and years and years of searching here it FINALLY is! I have spent the last 20 years or so trying to remember the name of this one. I wish they would promote it a little more - or even release it to DVD.

I used to live in Johnson city NY and we had an old school when I was in 2nd grade they would take us down to the a basement like place for lack of a better description where they would teach music. It was already creepy being down there and then some times they would put this show on. Very creepy.
