This is the aftermath of Hurricane Irene, August 28, 2011. As you can see the whole park is flooded.

  • Was that "fountain" originally a manhole cover? I heard on the news about those popping open and having water gushing out.

    I drove around this afternoon and saw that the Passaic River was flooded, but couldn't make it anywhere near the Raritan River because all the streets heading in that direction were blocked off.

  • @vwestlife Yep, it was a manhole cover. The Passaic is a disaster, I don't think you could even get over there too easily.

  • No damage to me lol. Tho like 1 min from my house, there is 14 trees down on the one street.

  • @hondaftw1234 Good to hear you have no damage, a tree branch took out the windshield on my celebrity but fortunately the body isn't damaged at all, and another one took a couple of shingles off my house roof. I also have no power so I have to drive to my work to go online LOL
