  • 1 watt+ 640's are available from a number of manufacturers, Kvant, RGB laser systems, Arctos. I have a 3.5watt RGB projector that will be getting a Kvant1watt 640 module soon. Unfortunately they don't come cheap :(

  • No camera tricks, the 640 is about the same as the 650. Its partly because of the difference in wavelength, but also a good chunk because of the better beam specs of the 640 - meaning the power density is greater. I wouldn't use anything other than 640 at the moment, 635 and 650 have terrible beam specs for matching with 532 and 445/473 and 660 is just too dim to be of use when you get into higher power ratings. You can get away with about equal measures of 532 and 640 for a reasonable balance

  • Thats phenomenal...I need about 1 watt of 635 for my projector, but I hate the beams specs, like the specs on 640 but couldn't find one anywhere near 1 watt.....good to know i don't need to,

  • So...the 350 is almost as bright as the 1 watt? or is that just the camera playing tricks?

  • which is which?
