FSX ILS Tutorial Default 737-800

This is an ILS tutorial of the Default 737-800. There have been a number of tutorials recently, and most are very good, but there is one aspect, that doesn't get covered that much, and that is the ability to setup the ILS frequencies, from the GPS. This allows you to setup your landing, without having to pause and exit to the map screen to find the ILS freq, to input. This video will define the steps to do this. This was from a flight between Miami (KMIA) and Orlando (KMCO). The approach and landing will be in IMC conditions. Hope you enjoy!

Note: the flap callouts and GPWS is from FDC Live Cockpit, which I was using a subset of it's features to aid in this video.

when i have been intercepted by the localiser, the ap lines up for me when im on APP but it doesn't descend? help !

Are you sure you are intercepting it from below the glideslope?

next time can you lower the atc and engine noises a little because its a little hard to hear you talking but otherwise good tutorial keep up the good work

Tf51d how do you get the engine sounds on the default 737 so realsitc? It sounds alot different than what i have.

@jorritje123 It's from FDC Live Copilot, but you can get the same result as well as Airbus callouts, with a utility called PMSOUND from Project Magenta. Google it.

@fevsy you must be below the glide slope to start out with then click the aproach hold button
