I am starting to plant a few things for fall. It has been killing me not to get some stuff in the ground for fall and I thought today would be a great day to start.

  • How are your seeds doing in this heat?

  • @tacheekwa It is tough......Been watering morning and night......Anything less they dry out too quick.......112 degrees today......Low temps at night are 88+......It is the hottest summer I can remember.....So far I have been able to keep everything alive.....I can only hope that when it cools off everything will be OK.....

  • Seeing all that open ground was too much for ya huh? Just had to plant ! I did the same thing all day Monday. Part of it was 120' of yellow squash, as if I needed anymore. I think Donald said we done learned to much from him, he's gonna hold on to a few secrets ! Ya got a beautiful place Tim, sure is purty. ;-)

  • @mhpgardener Bobby as always thanks for comments.......You do some amazing things and I have learned alot from watching your videos......It was killing me not getting something in the ground.....I just hope I can keep it going till it cools down and God blesses us with some rain......I am praying every day for it,......

  • Seems strange to be planting squash this late in the season... we are about 5 weeks or so from our 1st chance of frost up here. Hope you all get some rain soon.

  • @dustyanderson1 5 weeks.....I am wishing for cooler temps but not frost yet.......We see our first frost around late Oct/early November.......Thanks for comment......
