The first clip is a Whimbrel in Findhorn Valley, Cairngorms. The second clip is a Curlew in Musselburgh, Lothian. The last clip shows what I thought was a bog-standard curlew in Burnham Overy Staithe, Norfolk. However, the more I look at the pronounced eye-stripe, the more I think Whimbrel. Any comments appreciated.
I threw in the music to cover up some of the abrubt, sliced commentary ruined in the editing. I see what you mean though... but it's just music I knew wouldn't get flagged up straight away for copyright violation! It's by a guy called Paul Ruskay and probably suits something from science fiction rather than a field in Scotland!

Well, I wouldn't say the suggestion was supercilious ... but the reply was a touch frivolous perhaps!

So, slender billed curlew then? That's enough supercilious comments.

That's a cool looking bird. The music gives the feel of watching a cryptozoology entro. I half expected a giant Eagle to fly down and eat the little guy.
