  • The talking in the background at that point is a bunch of tiny clips from various vintage television commercials. I've always thought the groove on this particular song was very interesting, particularly the way it kind of "takes off" in the sections just following the commercial collage. Thanks for your kind words!

  • 1d is a line. 0d is a single point.

Think of what we "see" as a snapshot. Every snapshot we "see" is in 2-d. Every snap shop a 2-d person would see would be 1-d. Imagine your a 2-d person, and you traveled across a photo. You would see 1-d at a time, but you could be able to picture what the photo looks like. Just like how us 3-d people perceive action, 1 snap shot at a time. Look at Rob's video: What would flatlanders see?

  • Also in a hypathetical 1 dimension univers there is only a single point with no size, mass or cordinate. Only if you placed the 1st d into a 2nd d would it have location, but to also exist as the 1st dimenision it would not be visblle or detectable in anyway. So nothing could view in 1 d because it is a singlarity of nothing.

  • Them-selfs, So if the did do a 360 horivontal and spin couldnt see anything because there horizontal and vertical are needed for them to have location. And there is now no 3rd dimension for them to have any Z volume, so altho they might be able to navigate there X and Y cordenate univers, Vision is impossible.

  • We dont imagen 3d, what we see is three dimensions, we can see horizontaly verticaly and judge depths of the objects we view based upon were the focal point is. But i wasnt really talking about the way we view things more about the problem with the idea of a second dimension, If objects only exist in horizontal and vertical dimensions with nothing outside at all, the beings themselfs could not view there univers at all, because where they are in H&V there is nodepth to anything including-...

  • Us 3-D people don't really view 3-D, we see 2 2-D images with both eyes, and we combine the 2 images, plus all the images we receive when we turn our heads, to imagine 3-D. Theoretical 2-D people would see 1-D, and would combine all the 1-D images to imagine 2-D.

  • surly youd have to be in the third dimension to view anything in the second, becouse id asum to look directionly would require depth, and therfor would have to be a trait only applyable to 3rd or above dimensions? care to elaborait?. thanks for your time =)

  • You make groovy songs.

Are you going to make more?

And I'm wondering, what is that talking in the background at 2:25 to 2:58?
