Consumers have seen vast changes in the way they use the Internet. Mobile broadband, the explosion of apps, video over the Internet are just some examples. A key question therefore is: how are changes in the Internet marketplace translating into new business models and/or industry structures?
To consider this question, ITIF is inviting a series of panelists to offer their observations on the changing marketplace. The lead presenter will be Jonathan Sallet, a partner in the law firm of O'Melveny & Myers LLC, who will discuss his new paper, "The Creation of Value: The Broadband Value Circle and Evolving Market Structures," which has been published by the University of Southern California's Annenberg Innovation Lab and can be found at www.broadbandvaluecircle.com.
Other key speakers include: Robert D. Atkinson, President of The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation; Michael Calabrese, Vice President of Wireless Future Program; and Jeff Eisenach, Managing Director, Navigant Economics.
