  • Doris signed her second contract with Columbia around the year she did this swinging rendition. Doris had all the gifts no doubt.

  • Here's a song made popular during rock n roll's "growing pains". Written & first recorded by Otis Williams & the Charms in early '55, it was also a chart hit for collegiate, young Pat Boone. Even ol' Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra, recorded a version, but he couldn't quite swing it with the newer style of music. Doris Day did a nice job here, & had an even bigger hit later in the 50's with Everybody Loves a Lover.
