@SpecialMark Of course the books are better, but it's closer to the character then the Arnold movies. It was originally going to be Conan 3d or Conan but supposedly they balked when the Conan tv show on TBS started, "WELL THATS WHAT I HEARRRRRRRRRRRRRD"

@silentbob8201 So are you saying the 2011 Conan is more like Conan from the books than the 82 Conan? I just remember the books being alot better. Considering both movies with the same title and same character it is hard not to compare the two but I understand your point and appreciate the perspective.

It's not a Remake. Sherlock Holmes isnt a remake of the Private Life of Sherlock Holmes is it? Nor is the Mask of Zorro a remake of the Mark of Zorro. Conan 82 is a great fantasy film Shit Conan movie though

Saw this (horrible) movie and right after I had to go and buy the Arnolds version of Conan... in blue-ray this time (already got the VHS ja DVD) =D

@dogsoldier78 Yeah the Blu Ray of the 82 movie rocks. I love the remastered soundtrack for it. I am hoping they release that on CD because its sounded better than the last edition of the soundtrack they released.
