I always admire a good job of turning a Guillows bundle-of-sticks into a working plane. Are they still the fuzzy old sawn and diecut balsa, or has the company graduated to the age of laser cutting? Been many years since I saw the inside of a Guillows box. 8-)

How did you attach the wing to the frame? Rubber band? Glue?

Thanks Basic, the gear is actually a modification to the kit. they are good for up to 25 or so Oz.'s. they also have a spring looped at the top to absorb some shock. The issue will be the wing itself but I will probably just belly flop her till it is all trimmed out. Thanks - M
How do you make all the contruction correctly? Are you using the square all the time? what is the building tip?
Please advise.
Thanks

@mailtopravit Best to go to RCGROUPSDOTCOM this build thread is in the Scale forum and is listed in the sticky Guillows electric conversions 1000 series Corsair.
I used a Balsa building board that I bought from Guillows twenty years ago. You can make a 90 degree jig or use a small square to get things relatively plumb. Best of luck.

Please allow me to point out that that is one beautiful plane.. :)
One concern though.. the landing gear 'legs' looks a bit thin.. will they manage the impact on landing? I guess they're kit original so obviously calculated for strength et'c.. I'm just curious, is all.. :)
