May Day Parade Minneapolis Accident
In the Heart Of The Beast May Day 2009 Parade near Powderhorn Park Minneapolis. This was the very first float in the parade.
She was taken by ambulance and the show went on. We were told that she would be fine...hopefully she'll pay closer attention next time she tries to jump onto a moving parade float

shes not even hurt !!!! just a bunch of hero wanna bees who wont let her get up,try ragdolling thru the air off a dirtbike at sixty mile an hour !!!! no one but me around , four broken fingers on the right hand,broken shoulder,collarbone and detached neck musels on the other side.you try wipin ur ass with four broken fingers,i almost passed out sittin on the shitter !!!!!

Why was she attacking the float?

i was at a mardi gras parade in mobile alabama several years ago and saw a guy fall off a float and it ran over him and killed him

I'm glad this was the only accident in such a giant parade with thousands of people attending.

shit happens... people get hurt because they do stuff that isn't very smart. It isn't the floats fault. They stopped as soon as they hit her, which means it has perfectly functional breaks. As soon as you put restrictions like not dancing by the music float you have to start putting restrictions on other potential risks.

There we're thousands of people in this parade! The biggest May Day yet! I think its quite an accomplishment that there was only one accident caused by a float.

According to the HOBT press release, and the Minneapolis police department, the "float" was unauthorized. Did you have a more credible source besides the inaccurate claim that "anybody who wants to can be in the parade"? It is not true; that unsafe "shack float" would not be allowed. Also, I am wondering on what basis you decide who is ignorant - is it those who disagree, or do you have a more demanding standard?

Hopefull, it will stay there. It's dangerous on the streets, especially without permission.
