@windymo try changing his diet to fruits and vegtables and avoid dairy (avoid citric fruit), trust me I developed Psoriasis when I was 8 and I'm now 15. Seven years of my life of name-calling :( But if you follow that It helps a lot and expose the skin to the air and sun, tight clothes irritate the skin. I know by fact that Psoriasis is triggered by stress and its hard not to stress about it but some-how some-way he has to relax.

Vitamin E oil applied directly to the wound really helps! I have proof!!!

Ok I had it severe and I found several things to help me. The first things over the counter are Scalpicin for the scalp. Hydorcorisone cream can be bought at the Dollar store. Singulair medication and Lovistatin helped me. Aveeno body wash for itchy skin helped. Bathing every few days helped too. Good luck. I could not even go outside mine was so bad I scared people. Now I can with those treatments. Get well soon.
