Boeing 747-338
Aircraft Registration: VH-EBY
City of Mildura
Built: 1987
Delivery: 01st May 1987
Age of Aircraft: 21 Years
ICAO24: 7C147C
Engine Type: Rolls-Royce RB211-5 24D4U
This particular aircraft was delivered to Japan Airlines JAL on 01st March 1992 then again returned back to QANTAS on 01st April 1994.

Distance Covered: 2,650 KM
Flying Time: 03:50 Hours
Video was taken from the window of Economy Class Seat 66A.

Aircraft was approaching Melbourne Airport Runway 16L through thick clouds. Unfortunately at the time when this video was taken, the batteries had already run low. Hence the actual part of the landing was unable to be filmed.

Immediately after the batteries ran flat, the aircraft suddenly dropped its altitude and a large number of passengers made the "whoa" sound simultaneously. It was a bit scary.

Apologies from a380kik, extra sets of batteries should be kept in the seat pocket in front.

Thanks for watching!
