*This video was shot in January 2010*. It shows the results after applying the "Coconut Cream Relaxer" shown in the videos by "ThatGirrl5". After trying this several times (4 altogether), I have incorporated it into my regimen as a protein/moisture treatment. The only thing that I do differently is add 2 tblsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil to the mixture for added moisture. I purchased the Coconut Cream Concentrate online from Tropical Traditions

PLEASE BE ADVISED: This works for me but may not be for everyone because of the amount of protein from the yogurt. Thanks for watching!

  • ok ladies where can I find this coconut creme concentrate I have looked high and low??????

  • @broncofangj I bought mine online from tropical traditions. I think ThatGirl5 posted a link to the site on her video about the coconut cream relaxer. I've been reading lately though and it's the yogurt that is the active ingredient in the mix. lyndaespratley did a video on her mix where she used avocado instead of the coconut cream concentrate and it worked. If you do end up buying the concentrate, you don't need a large container of it. I have tons leftover. HTH :)

  • @mitchellzee thanks so much for replying I will order it from tropical traditions as well. I do have another question I have been reading a lot about henna and I saw a video where it in a box and things were added to it color the hair. I guess it was pure henna so you know of a sight where I might buy henna. Im not exactly sure where to start but I really want to try it on my hair since I have heard so many great things about it.

  • @broncofangj If you want to learn more about using Henna and its' benefits check out hennaforhair's website (can't list exact address in the comments--Google should take you there). As for ordering I have purchased it from a site called "mehandi" and another one called "hennasooq". Both sent me pure 100% henna powder. I ordered brunette bundles from both sites because I like to mix Indigo powder w/ the henna to tone down the red. Be wary of the boxed Henna-see hennaforhair for details

  • Hi. I noticed you said that you washed your hair with baking soda and then rinsed with apple cider vinegar. I'm just looking out---please take a look at Kimmaytubes research video if you haven't seen them already. It's very insightful. I learned that baking soda is bad for our hair, and following with vingear can stress our hair out. Your hair came out beautifully by the way :)

  • @ElleNuMi Thanks for letting me know about the Kimmaytube video on Baking Soda. I haven't used it since this video, but it's good to know more about how it works. I won't be using it to cleanse my hair and scalp anymore though. Thanks again.

  • @mitchellzee once again thank you I will check out this site that you mentioned, you have been most helpful!!!

  • @mitchellzee You are sooooo welcome! I have to say that Kimmay really is a life saver with all the videos that she's created. I have to admit that when I was transitioning I did the baking soda and ACV rinse and I hated how it made my hair feel. I didn't like how it felt from even while washing it with the baking soda. Months later I did the BC and learned of the harm baking soda can cause - So I had to share with you!
