From the LP by Tarleton's Jig 'For King and Parliament'.
On 30th June, 1667 Samuel Pepys met Lord George Douglas in Rochester and mentions seeing his Regiment, Dumbarton's; he records that
'Here in the streets, I did hear the Scotch march beat by the drums before the soldiers, which is very odde.'
The image is from the funeral of the Duke of Albemarle 1670 and is likely to be depicting Monck's Regiment.
