Phantom of the Opera - Everybody's Fool

Christine is in her dressing room alone after meeting with her new boyfriend, Raoul, when she hears the Phantom's voice. The sound of his voice brings back many memories of when they were together before he cheated on her. Wishing to escape, she takes a carriage to the cemetery with, unknown to her, the Phantom as her driver. During the journey, more memories of the Phantom return to her. Whilst at the cemetery she meets Raoul who gets into a fight with the Phantom over his abuse towards Christine. The Phantom wants her back, but Raoul won't stand for this. Christine rides off with Raoul which angers the Phantom. At this point, Christine decides she has to expose the real Phantom to everyone. During the opera in which they both star in the next night, Christine takes off the Phantom's mask, revealing his true self. The Phantom is ruined and in his rage takes Christine down once more to the dungeons he calls home. Raoul follows and tries to save Christine but the Phantom ties him up so he can't. Christine is on her own now and tells the Phantom what she thinks of him, screams at him. He realises he can't win and has to return to life alone in his lair beneath the Opera Populaire as everybody's fool.
