On probably on of the last warm days (22C) of the year, we harvest our first crop of sunflowers on November 4th for the fine folks at Spitz. Good yield of good heavy seed, but we plugged the combine sieves 3 passes before the end. Sticky stuff those sunflower heads!

  • No, its a regular grain head with a special cunflower attatchment. No grabrolls involved.
