you are doing extraordinarily well for someone that has only been keeping bees 2.5 years. I have only managed to kill 2 hives in that time

I used to have 40 colonies back home..in the Philippines..and I went back to United states for a year and my bee keeper lost them all...I am going to start again...I started only 2 colonies before and within 2 years we split them in to 40 colonies.they have plenty of food where we are...

i have also 1 colony here in my backyard but i have the Apis cerena indica, the native honey where u can
see it in those tropical country, very xciting to keep the said bees because thier nature is wild and aggresive, i do checking thier hive without wearing any protections,
