Peter Chan sing Mandarin song- Love Without End (Bu Liao Q ing) 陳叔善唱 不了情

Love Without End, one of the very few popular Mandarin songs that i hear when i was a small tiny child. My aunt used to sing this song, when she want me to fall to sleep. I was just few years old,and i dont know what it mean,i just feel good whever she sing this while i try to fall to sleep.

As i growth older, i was able to go with my other aunt to see the rerun of this very famous old Black and White movie produced by Shaw Brother. The main actress was the very very famous top super star, Miss Linda. 4 times winner of Best Actrss of the Whole South East Asia Film Festivales. This movie Love Without End won her, her 3rd Best Actress price.

But, i was still too small to understand and i really hated black and white movies and i dont like sad and heavy Drama films at all. But i was attract by the beauty and great performerance of Miss Lina and the 3 songs of this movie which is sung by Miss Koo Mai.(you can buy this movie from Shaw Brother's DVD now with digital remake ).

When i became teenager, this movie was in theater again for rerun, this time i went to see it myself becasue i like Linda and all the 3 songs. I was so surprise to see many lady audience was crying and singing along while watching this movie....boy,this is a very old movie and people still was moved by it...but yet i am still too young to appreciate true love.

But with time gone by, with so much life experiences,go through so many up and down, so many lost dreams,so many disappointments.....so many......so many.. ..so many.....i start more appreciate this film.

This song is sing by me Peter Suk-Sin Chan and the video is taken by myself too. I used an old photo of mine to created some fade away memories feeling.

What can i say? a Sad song but a very beautiful song indeed.....whenever i sing this song, it make me feel sad..... Now, i can really understand and able to sing this song the feeling that the song writer want.But honest to god, i wish i am still that young child didnt even know and understand what is this song all about and what is mean by Love Without End.

PS Miss Linda killed herself at age of 30 during the height of her career. She married into a rich family and had a 2 years old son when she died. The reason she killed herself is because she is angry with her husband that night, he went out for party and did not return home all night.Because she was busy filming that night. She is just try to scare her husband....but by the time ,they find out is too late.....in her letter to her husband , she pointed out that if you want to save me, please sent me to a private clinic not public hospital, becasue people wil make this into a big news........
