With the StuntCat I introduce a new approach to R/C modelling. DIY beginner foamies does not need to be ugly, they can have real wing profiles, a real "body" and be good looking and still easy to build. The StuntCat flies as good as it looks, fast and slow for beginner and pro alike. The StuntCat accepts a wide range of motorization (in the beginning I flew it with a Graupner Speed 400 (brushed) direct drive on 2-Cell LIPO) Want to know more, go to www.freemindmodels.com.

The plane in this video is put together with tape only (experiment). In some places double sided stick tape is perfect and in some other not. The pdf-plan proposes sticky-tape in some places, based on experience.

As the pdf-plan has been updated after this plane, there are some minor differences between the featured plane and the pdf-plan. The video gives a excellent overview of how the plane is put together.

  • Sir, would you mind sending me the pdf plan of your stuntcat. i like the way the stuntcat fly, very stable and very smooth, a very good design and planning, my email is ebrada_ricky@yahoo.com from philippines

  • @robertoebrada see my webpage (link on my channel). templates, dimensions and instructions can be found there. Quite a few people have built their Stuntcat with the webpage as basis and their StuntCats looks and flies as good as my own one....

  • Change is coming on how to distrubute the StuntCat PDF. Obviously the e-mail way is a bit tedious for everyone. Dont worry it will still be for free. So you people who still not have got the PDF, just wait a little bit more. And a hint: if you still want to give me your e-mail, do it as a message and not a comment, then it is easier for me to keep track.

  • I Just built my stuntcat. Thank you for sharing them. The plane is a pleasure to build. The instructions are easy to follow and well thought out. The plane holds up well, she can take a beating and keep flying. It can carry a small camera without sacrificing performance. I mounted a GoPro Hero on mine and was surprised at how well it carried the extra weight. I equipped mine with a Wellguard 2212-06 motor, Zippy 3S1p 2200 mah battery, 30 amp ESC and a 6X4 APC prop. Thanks again.

  • @propnut30 seen your maiden video, it is great !

  • where can i find the instructions???

  • @lanikos12314789 look around on my channel and you will find the answer !!
