  • How did you ever find out about this? Did you accidentally hit 4 & 7 and reset?! Seriously, how'd you come across the info?

  • @dadahdee I stumbled across it on a website devoted to vintage games (can't remember the name of it know though). I was there looking up the going rates for some rare games I had luckily acquired, and looked through their section on "Easter Eggs". as far as I can tell, this is the coolest one of all the Intellivision games.

  • deeply insightful, the allegory is certainly evident in the intensifying hot dog war

  • I know a spot in my area that deals with INTV games! I'll have to find the game, pull out the old system, and give that a try some time!

  • Excellent and funny video. I never knew about this secret game. Tron Deadly Discs is my favorite intel game. Thanks for the video.

  • Tron Deadly Discs is my favorite INTV game by far, I know Dig Dug is rare but now knowing about the Deadly Dogs Easter Egg im going to fork over the cash for it.

  • @bigkatmanning I never knew you had Easter eggs in video games back then. I had Intellivisions' Armor Battle (a game with tanks) and once in a while a new game would start with a tank half submerged in the side of the screen. When this happened, you could drive "under" the side margin and pop out the opposite side of the screen and surprise your enemy. I always thought this was a glitch though because only one team would have this privilege.

  • I had the Intellivision Master Component back in Xmas1981 (or was it 82'?). I can't believe there are ones out there that still work. I think mine wore out after just a couple of years through overuse. We were always taking it to get repaired. This would involve a 6 week LONG wait followed by a month or two intense game play followed by 6 wk's repair etc, etc...

  • @RGS1970 My dad used to have the world record of 13 million. That was a long time ago, though.

  • Good luck finding a Dig Dug cartridge. They are rare.

  • @IntellivisionDude I am going to be looking for this at the Thrift and Used video game Stores I hope I get lucky

  • looks pretty cool
