Section 5, Public Order Act can't be used by an Officer, if it's directed at him/her. They have to be above this and it only comes into effect for members of the Public who fear Alarm, Harassment or Distress :)

being that this is england, you are filmed alot of your life :P made a big deal from somthing that happens alot in english towns/cities

those cops just didnt want to be shamed... but by trying to stop it they were, they should of just taken it and let it go. funny stuff :P

Yes of course you were allowed to film in a public place, and I am not trying to compare this situation to other, more extreme ones (well, I was, but realised it kinda failed). The member of the public who was stopped was completely within his right. But you can appreciate the point I am trying to make. (Even if i made it badly).

You don't have a right not to be filmed - not in public anyway.

The public have a right not to be subjected to police officers making the law up as they go along though.
