God I fucking hate that bird... With my theory, the bird will starve to death since the cub escaped.

I don't believe the fourth one died. At the end, a cub that does look like the cub that was following the mother was moving towards the cubs and mother at the end, which was at a different area, so it's most likely that the cub got away and managed to catch up with Benji at the end.

If you don't agree, then don't reply, but I want to believe all four survived. The ending of the movie really makes me cry so much.

Normally I wouldn't respond to these but seeing as so many people don't pay attention to the movie, look at the timeline.... The cub the mother had was always there, it was there long before the hawk scene, REWIND and youll see. It wasn't the cub that got snatched, it wasn't related in anyway. The real mother was shot, and benji noticed another cougar that had its own cub that it was nursing so he knew that she could take care of the orphaned cubs.

why didn't benji carry the cub that was snatched by the hawk back to its siblings and ran when the hawk was about to attack again ? he ran with one the cubs earlier and why didn't he go back for that cub with the others after chasing the hawk away ? i never understand that why he didn't do that i always hated that scene cuz that cub did not make it in the end and that always makes me sad :(

It's really the great film I used to see. I don't want to believe the 4th cub was killed. They are so cute as a babies. Hope it could alive. I admire the director of this film. All actions are really natural and emotional. I love this film <3

guys, the cub with the mom cougar is another cougar all together with her own cub

the one that got snatched by the hawk doesn't make it. it lives as we see but it doesn't make it to the end with its siblings

Yeah. I thought maybe the one cub that was following the female cougar was the same cub that got caught by the hawk. isn't it? Maybe the cub somehow escaped or the hawk dropped it and we didn't see that, and that's why the hawk came back. bottom line, I think the cub that was following the mom was the same cub that got caught by the hawk.

I meant that the cub that was caught by the hawk arrived and joined his siblings and new mother and new sibling, after the female cougar and own cub showed up. Now do you know what I meant?
