@1301byh I mostly worked with Scott.. But from what I saw, Dre uses whatever sounds good to him.. He tends to like the mpc 3000 a lot.. and he has an arsenal of analog and digital synths.. He's also got logic rigs at every workstation... so, I think his approach is variety, having a lot to chose from and going with what sounds best
