@Floralin Well, if he hadn't discovered it though we wouldn't have developed controlled fission which generates electricity today in nuclear reactors. We wouldn't have been able to understand how to use radioactivity to our advantage in medical science.

@indiagreat2 The U.S. were the ones that dropped the atomic bomb. The president allowed Japan to surrender or face total death, showing mercy. Japan refused so the bomb was dropped. In a way, Japan decided their fate.
