Chef Anne makes chocolate-mascarpone crepes with flambe cherry sauce. This video is part of Worst Cooks in America show hosted by Anne Burrell . SHOW DESCRIPTION :Sixteen of the country's most hopeless cooks attempt to transform from kitchen zeros into kitchen heroes as they compete in a grueling culinary boot camp on season two of Food Network's primetime reality series, Worst Cooks in America. The "recruits" - nominated by family and friends for their abysmal cooking skills - are split into two teams, led by acclaimed chefs and Food Network stars Chef Anne Burrell (Secrets of a Restaurant Chef) and Chef Robert Irvine (Dinner: Impossible). With a season one victory under her belt, Chef Anne hopes the red team will succeed again while Chef Robert joins the competition with a fresh determination to win. In each one-hour episode, the recruits put to use the techniques they learn from their chefs in two high-pressure tests: a Skill Drill and a Main Dish Challenge. The worst cook from each team is eliminated at the end of the episode based on performance and progress. The final two recruits must prepare a three-course, restaurant-quality meal for a panel of culinary experts (Donatella Arpaia, Marc Murphy and Drew Nieporent) in the season finale. On the line are the chefs' professional reputations and $25,000 for the newly-crowned kitchen hero. Season one of Worst Cooks in America premiered on January 3, 2010, as the highest-rated series premiere in Food Network history.

  • she makes it look so easy.

  • @carlsjr123 She's speaking in English, dumbass, therefore the S is pronounced. Is it not enough that she pronounces it the French way and not the American way? Get over yourself. Also, she's the one with over two decades of culinary education, not you.

In any case, I would rather say it the American way. If you're gonna say it wrong, might as well go all out. I hate the pretentious "French" pronunciation people can't even pull off. I've taken French, and I can say it right, but choose not to.

  • @carlsjr123 Actually, crepe is a French word. Her pronunciation is more correct/authentic as she is approximating the correct French pronunciation of the word, where the vowel sound is like the "e" in the American English word "set". Her "r" sound isn't quite French enough, but hey, it's better than the way most Americans pronounce it.

  • @carlsjr123 some can pronouce it either way. looks like your the dumbass....

  • Your channel is truely inspiring! I have to give you a 5 stars! Love it so much. Let's stay in touch. Check out mine sometimes too!
