It's funny how time proves most of you WRONG - Zenyatta did exactly what she was supposed to do in the Breeders Saturday... SHE WON IT.

She went into a brand new gear at the end i think she showed that she could accelerate faster than what she had been. Amazing

Zenyatta was amazing. And to you who say she isn't: get a life. If you don't recognize an amazing horse when you see it right in front of you, then you're a lost cause. So you should just stfu and not say anything at all. The 09 classic was no way in hell a fluke. Don't get pissed because ppl are comparing her with Secretariat or anybody else. She deserves to be ranked among the best. Disagree? shut the hell up.

@DemonChinChilla355 Nobody "compared her to Secretariat" the comment below just said she runs like him. She was never comparing her to him. She might've meant she had strides like him or something of that nature. But, lets face it, if Zenyatta wasn't any good at all, would she have made it this far? And I actually know quite a bit about racing. I'm just gonna say, get your ass out there tacked up with a jockey on you and run faster than she did.

i luv zenyatta... i just wish they ran her in the style Ruffian did... always in the lead from the first to the last step in the race, setting the pace and ending with a blazing fast homestretch run. i think she could have done that is she was asked to...

Actually, I'm not a little girl, DemonChinChilla355, and i know quite a bit about racing. You, however, seem to be unable to recognize greatness when it slaps you in the face. She is so gifted that even with a running style that would doom all others to less than perfection, she always won. She was even the best horse in the one race she lost.

i dont think zenyatta was any good at all. she never proved herself against real horsew, the 09' classic was a fluke, she faced horses that couldnt beat a 5 claimer at delta downs. and when se faced a class field, she came up short. dont bother defending her either, the only people that think she was amaing are little girls who know as much about racing as a fish knows about flying. dont get me wrong, shes a pretty horse. but people who compare her to secratariet know nothing.
