Expanding further on improving shifter feel in the cable shifted 9-3s, this car already has the shifter mount bushings that go in the console. It still was not as nice as my custom Viggen shifter. This simple solution eliminated the deflection of the stock cable end isolator. As you can see this is about as simple upgrade possible. Another original Taliaferro design, machined in house by "Prototype" Steve on the Haas VF2 from USA aluminum.. Now thats made in America!

  • I just installed this on my 2008 9-3 2.0T 6 speed 5 minutes ago, it took about 5 minutes. On the 2.0T you don't have to move the battery, but it is kind of tight, you just have to be careful that you don't bend the linkage when manipulating the isolator to get the screws on. Very happy with this, the shift is a lot less spongy and clunky. Money well spent, way to go Genuine Saab

  • It's called this on the website:

Shifter Cable Reinforcement Kit 93 5/6-Spd

  • is there a link to the item in the store? I can't find it listed.

  • just ordered this part. should go well with the shifter bushings and short shift kit i bought from you. the little bit of firmness this provides will make a world of difference!

  • i have to check my now.
