China's state broadcaster says the pyrotechnics that set fire to a new luxury hotel, gutting the structure and killing a firefighter, were so powerful that a special permit was needed, but it was never obtained. (Feb. 10)

The WTC suffered a large fire (10 stories were damaged) back in 1978 and the building survived. Don't believe me? Google it for yourself.

i guess you don't know what you are talking about. WTC 7 was NOT hit by a plane. it was a much smaller building then the two towers! (WTC 1 and WTC 2). in total there was 9 WTC buildings that where all destroyed on 9/11. most of them where so close to the towers that they just got crushed by the two towers that collapsed upon them. but building 7 was further away, and was collapsed by a few small fires on the upper floors... at least thats what the white house tells you...

@xlioilx, @NotOurCause, ya you would be right but dont forget that A FUCKING PLANE RAN INTO THOSE BUILDINGS. and plus jet fuel burns hotter then alot of other fires and steel expands ALOT when heated to a certain degree. so when steel expands, especially from jet fuel, on a big ass building shit is more then likely going to happen. but of course im sure you knew that right?

@slooob23 It's not hard when you ignore the obvious evidence that would refute such uneducated claims as yours. The towers were equipped with massive steel core columns, steel trusses that were both welded and bolted, and a web-like outer column of steel.
