Katasraj, Pakistan, Hindu temple, Chakwal,

Katasraj is an ancient Hindu Temple Cluster which is now in Pakistan after the partition of old India in 1947 and Pakistan came in to existence. Just after the partition declaration, on both side of the border, there were ethnic clashes and properties, worshiping places were destroyed and mass killings were done on running refugees from both of the countries. Katasraj temples are the result of those events. Totally ruined and neglected temples still exist with a natural beautiful pond. Now Govt. of Pakistan has taken care of it as an archeological valued place, (not as a Hindu temple). It is just four five years back that Pakistan govt. allowed a group of Hindu Pilgrims to worship at Shiva Temple at Katasraj on Shivratri Festival of Hindus which fall almost in March every year. In that series, a group of about 150 pilgrims went to Katasraj with visa from 3/3/2008 to 11/03/2008. This is the shooting of that time. Please enjoy.

Dude i am not against muslims, i am just against the fact, that most of the killings that happen today are under the name of the islam, that is probably bcos Islam way of life is getting unacceptable by the mainstream public. And they feel that the only way out is jihad, but what they dont realize is that they have been following hte same preachings for the 3k years, cmon, world is not blackand white anymore, Muslims should be more open and change, like the Hindus/christians/jews etc did.

@pcbali Does the above temple exist or it is merely a old video.A Indian newspaper writes many of the temples in Lahore,Gujranwala r used as cowshed to protect horses & donkeys.The newspaper further says that the Raam Kunday Mandar in Islamabad,once a a sacred site to Hindus is being converted to a picnic spot.another kali temple in Peshawar is used by Traders.On the other side of border many mosques,masjids were attacked in Punjab(Amristar, Jalandhar,Ludhiana, Ambala, Delhi) during Partition.

it was a fucked up deal of partition. much better if it was like all muslims leave india and all hindus leave pak. now the thing is pak has killed almost all hindus who stayed back in pak calling them kafirs, where as the muslims in india have multiplied under the protection & care of political thugs with electoral agenda, and have even made desi terrorist group of indian mujahideen and killing ppl in indian cities. shame india's multiculturalism is under the gun point of own muslim terrorists

@tokaee shame on you Porkistani..Recently, at least 19 such abduction cases have occurred in Karachi alone. whereas Muslims enjoy more rights in India than their Hindu counterparts,They r the only ones under the Indian constitution allowed to have many wives.There is a ban on loudspeakers which again the get an exemption..If you want the details on the rest let me know.
