Uh, that's a diaphram unit not a piston pump. You are too far way from your target also. Maximum should be a foot or so. Latex air-dries quick.

@rwhdragonmaster I had a short pipe made for the intake also , problem it rides so low to get to the bottom of a one gallon bucket that if you move the machine you could ruin the bottom filter by smashing it.

I like the electric motor for just spraying flatwall paint inside , this pump is just nice to use for being powerfull

and runs with so little wear.I just like the model speeflo that just tips back that shaft , just too much money to switch for that option. so many pumps just sitting now

@basracer no i used to be nothing but a GRACO MAN but when they quit making the GH-43 and come uot with the 5000 series i switched to SPEE-FLO and haven't gone back, but i still use there guns, i have a friend who has modified his 5500 pumps so you can just drop them in a 5 and pull the trigger. he did this by making a homemade short snorkel it works very cool,next time i see don ill have him show me how he did it and ill pass it on to you. got to go four now ,have all 6 grand kids over for bbq

@basracer yeah guy i thought for sure you were that moron in that vid, that's why i came unglued . oh and i do believe in air assist i have had my share of them. but i never had much luck with WAGNER except there g-10 gun great for shooting cabinet's ,call me old school but i love my binks 2.5 gallon pot hvlp gun and for production i use my spee-flo 10000 or my 8900 or my5500 pumps speaking of the bridge i have her on my cell phone to remind me never to do that shit again makes you old fast.

@rwhdragonmaster i gotta admit you and I really shouldnt be fighting back and forth , I actually would have found talking to you about the Golden Gate bridge painting interesting . We cant be such dopes to spew at eachother. I commented as to how this guy could spray these cabinets better even if he's using the weak little sprayer. San Fran was my stomping grounds for 7 yrs but did 35 yrs paint contr in Santa Barbara. I'm sure we could talk stories on all the shit that happens in this business
