Artist: Pink Floyd
Album: Dark Side of The Moon
Song: Great Gig in The Sky
Release Date: March 17th,1973
Track Number: 05

Lyrics:
And I am not frightened of dying, any time will do, I
don't mind. Why should I be frightened of dying?
There's no reason for it, you've gotta go sometime.
If you can hear this whispering you are dying.
I never said I was frightened of dying.

  • If you can't feel this, you're dead already.

  • Back in High School,

I used to a be in a rock band. We played post-punk pop rock songs and at the time i was really into screamo, grunge and punk. And then one day, I heard this song. It was the first Pink Floyd song I had ever heard. It hit my instantly in such a way that no song had ever had before. I then bought this album, and I was never the same again. all i listened to from then and now is psych and prog bands, the level of artistry and sophistication in these bands is mind-blowing

you insult me when you have no idea who i am or what i am about. The actions of an ignorant man.

  • @mahavishnuxc Enjoy your closed minded musical tastes, dadrockfag

  • @Shancus32796 In your defense, pretty much everything is better than Kesha. Especially Pink Floyd though.

  • Pink Floyd was amazing. There was no sole songwriter with the band, this song in particular was written by the keyboard player richard wright bless his soul. When I hear this song it always reminds me that death is inevitable, everybody dies so in intraspect, live life to the full while you still can. Respect all, fear none

  • This is such a masterpiece. RIP Richard Wright, you wonderfully talented man.

  • I was listening to this destructively loud one day at school, and a girl beside me told me clare's voice sounded like crap so I snapped, "bitch she's way better than kesha!" And my teacher applauded me. I'm so proud of me.
