Maryland Flames at Montrose Christian - 11-27-08

Team Rahman (Maryland Flames AAU 8U girls basketball) was again invited to play a intra-squad game at half time of Montrose Christian. This time during the championship game of The Annual Tip-Off Tournament hosted by Montrose.

We were again missing a few players but had enough to run 3 on 3.

No cheerleaders this time but there was an announcer! The girls really got a kick out of hearing their names and numbers called out over the PA system. This was a first for all of them. They also heard their names called out on made baskets. The crowd was very enthusiastic and seemed to enjoy the show. Only problem: the "ref" was no good! All in all, a wonderful experience for these young ballers!

This may turn into a regular thing so stay tuned!
