I am proud to announce that myself and the gnamptronics team have finally completed the Fingertop PC.- The World's smallest Personal Computer. This is a demo video of the original fully functioning prototype. The entire unit is smaller and lighter than a book of matches. Note the Wireless-Stylus interface- this makes low-key computing possible (however we do hope that this fact won't be exploited by less scrupulous individuals as a good way to cheat in exams etc.) The thin and very flexible high-resolution screen can be adjusted for brightness and so forth and the minute battery lasts for about 5.5 hours between charging. The Fingertop offers no onboard sound as yet unfortunately, but our wireless Gnamplifyer™ can be purchased separately. Orders will be ready March 2009.

  • Even if You have managed to put Windows onto an iPod Nano, or whatever...

It's not really the World's smallest PC. Is it?

Not when You need a huge area, to draw in.

And for that Reason, I'm out.

  • @shadowolf192 your lack of foresight, imagination and understanding tells me you're more of a Deborah Meaden than a James Caan... XD

  • Yeah ! You invented current iPod nano.

  • @zebestbh Yeah ! the current iPod nano is a PC. <--- sarcasm

  • Unfortunately the accompanying magnifying glass is a foot wide and weigh 15 pounds.

  • @MatchstalkMan I expect you already have your own...

  • @gnamp I guess we could allude to a quote from, "Pinky and the Brain", in which the Brain says about how there's no future in miniturisation, (while referring to smaller portable televisions,) because once you make the screens smaller, people can no longer see the Screens.

This isn't applicable to ALL miniturised Devices. (HMDs, Anyone?).

However, it is applicable to this one.

Deborah Meaden comes over as a bit insecure for my tastes, but fair enough.

    I wish, I were that sucessful. :-P.

  • This gadget is awesome, probably would be more appealing if it would run android, but still You've managed to assemble the smallest pda I've seen. Keep up the good work.

  • What OS does it run? and the specs aswell :D

  • @ashensunhappyonion are you sure? click the scroller button at the bottom in different places. You'll see my hand move.
