  • Thumbs up for the kittie. :D

  • @NIN3LIVES I agree with what you're saying. If someone really did want to create an MMO with the power of WoW, they would have to make it out of something more people are familiar with (e.g. the Legend of Zelda.) So all of these people saying "Let's beat WoW!" are trying to fight a tank with a water pistol, i.e. they don't have what's required.

  • / disagree - see the attraction with wow is the "daily grid" the "questing" players build a bond with that character and i fail to see how they couldn't, the sense of accomplishment that comes with each level or that item you've been grinding is way to addictive to just forget about and more importantly your idea for a game where you can just create a character specifically for a dungeon sucks! imagine a high end dungeon full of in experienced players, if you want plug and play get an xbox!!

  • I think blizzard did well at the whole leveling aspect of MMOs. You can quest to gain XP, you can PVP to get xp, and you can do dungeons to get XP. And I know when I was leveling I would get bored of questing and would switch to dungeons which were fun because you just hit things and get loot while gaining Xp toward the next level.

  • It's funny because everytime a company like war hammer tries new ideas to beat WoW... Blizzard just takes that new idea from their game changes it a little and puts it in a patch... The only way to beat WoW is to make a new WoW to an extent..

  • I dont think wow is going to last much longer after cataclysm, because blizzard cant keep infinitely expanding the game. Imagine how long it would take to level from 1-100, then raid for good endgame gear and so on. It would get boring, no matter how pretty the graphics or all the cool new features.

  • From a guy that has done the 1-30 grind severla tmes...the entire game experience is not fun for me until around 37-40...when you have most of your good spells, A 100%, and can do a variety of fun Instances (ZF was the first instance i ever saw...and i was hooked...thank you tristan.)

the only thing i could see as being better(Since im finally 80) is the raid browser. No one uses it! It would be a nice touch.

But overall...this is the best mmo right now.(I miss old everquest LOL)

  • Atleast im hoping for that, because im thinking of when im gonna be like ... Old, and I can't really think of things to do at that point so perhaps im gonna just do that as a hobby instead of other things (No idea what other things old people can be up to really) (Seriously what do they do all day?!)

  • How about this,

If WoW are gonna keep doing what they are doing, which is expanding the game and coming up with new fun and interesting features that players can play with and enjoy there are basicly gonna be this game that has all theese things. And with all this experience that the devolpers have which others don't im thinking that there is a chance of Warcraft existing for quite a long time.

  • @Milbbk how was that not a real joke? you are a dumbfuck

  • @CoTTTonEyedJoE use a real joke dumbass

  • WoWs next problem will be Secret world.. mmo on a consol...enough said..
